Ball valve is evolved form plug valve in the past decades, which is opened and closed by a sphere making 90 axial rotation along valve stem. Ball valve is mainly functioned to cut off, distribute and alter the flowing direction of mediums in pipeline. According to structural types, ball valves are basically classified to floating type and fixed type.
